LILA K. SMITH
Me standing up.
I’m Lila K. Smith—an actor, singer, and stand up raised in the south and based in New York City. After seeing The Music Man on a local stage at age three, I refused to believe that the ice cream shop onstage wasn’t a real ice cream shop. My only option was to get up there and see for myself.
Growing up, I performed in over 20 Theatre for Young Audience productions before being accepted into the acting conservatory at The Governor’s School for the Arts & Humanities. I then continued my acting education at Fordham University Lincoln Center where I graduated in 2024.
I’m passionate about art that moves audiences. I believe that acting, through screen, stage, and music, has the ability to prompt social change and personal reflection. But on a more serious note, I love comedy.
